Mississippi’s State Senate Election 2027

Hello, my name is Dianne D. Black.  I'm a life long Mississippi resident. I’m a widow with five incredible adult children, three daughters in-law and three grandchildren!  I have spent the last four decades serving Desoto County, Mississippi as an entrepreneur.  I am also a member of the  Olive Branch Chamber of Commerce, World Vision,  member of the Zetas Amicae,   Desoto and Marshall County Federation of Democratic Women, Charter member of the Memphis Civil Rights Museum, National Police Association, NAACP, and contributing member of the USO ( a military organization). My place of worship is St.Luke COGIC in Olive Branch, Mississippi.

I am running for Mississippi State Senate in 2027  because Mississippi needs a leader who will fight to fully fund our public schools and increase access to affordable healthcare insurance.  I also believe that Elon Musk supper computer will do more harm than good in Mississippi. We must protest our environment. The state of Mississippi needs a living wage increase to ensure our residents can provide for their families.  I am pro Union.  All states including MIssissippi needs common sense  gun laws for safer neighborhoods bc and schools.

I am the best candidate for Senator for District 19, because I Wil support the Democratic agenda. .  My opponent voted no in the legislature for medicaid expansion, refunding $2 billions dollars for medicaid benefits back to Washington DC.  Leaving two hundred thousand Mississippians without insurance. I need your help, donate to my campaign.  Every donation counts, please contribute $25, $50 or more now to help send a real leader to our state legislature and flip this Senate seat BLUE!

Health care in Mississippi could get even worse with new federal law

Don’t look now, but thanks to the so-called One Big Beautiful Bill, health care, which by nearly every metric already is bad in Mississippi, is going to get worse.
